The difference

Drag it yourself

The same skincare product page twice: stock Dawn on the left, my rebuild on the right. Drag the handle, or focus the slider and use your arrow keys.

Stock Dawn product page: one photo, a title, a price, a quantity box, and two buttons — nothing that sells.
Rebuilt product page: gallery with thumbnails, reviews, benefit bullets, size options, subscribe-and-save, and a clear add-to-cart.

Shown: Porcelain, a demo skincare boutique — first case below.

Selected work

Three builds, shown honestly

Demo stores I designed and built end to end. No invented clients, no borrowed numbers — just real code you can click. The verticals are set dressing; the patterns work in any catalog.

Demo build

Porcelain — product page rebuild

A $48 serum page rebuilt end to end: gallery with thumbnails, benefit-led copy, a review summary, subscribe-and-save in the buy box, and a sticky mobile buy bar. In a client build it ships as Online Store 2.0 sections — no apps, all editable.

Demo build

Rose Milk — bundle builder

Instead of a $30–50/mo bundle app, a mix-and-match trio builder: pick any three glosses — or triple one — and the price updates live with the 20% bundle discount. In a client build it ships as one Liquid section on native Shopify bundles.

Demo build

Clay & Sage — quantity-break pricing

Tiered pricing built into the product form: choose single, trio, or six-pack, and the per-unit price, savings badge, and cart total update as you click. In a client build it runs on native Shopify pricing — no discount-code hacks.

What I build

Features that convert

A clean product page is the foundation. A handful of features do the rest — capture the visitor, lift the order, lock in repeat revenue, and win the customer back. Here's what each looks like, and how I build it.

01 · Capture the visitor

Email & SMS capture

A timed popup trades a small discount for an email or phone number. Automated welcome and abandoned-cart flows then bring first-time visitors back to finish the order.

  • Klaviyo / Omnisend
  • Theme app embed
  • Welcome + cart flows

02 · Lift the order

Upsell & order value

"Frequently bought together" bundles on the product page and one-click offers after checkout raise the average order — without spending more on ads to get there.

  • Native bundles
  • Product-page block
  • Post-purchase offer

03 · Recurring revenue

Subscribe & save

Shoppers pick a delivery cadence and lock in a discount. One-time buyers become predictable monthly revenue — and can skip, swap, or cancel anytime.

  • Shopify Subscriptions
  • Selling plans
  • Skip / swap / cancel

04 · Win them back

Loyalty & retention

A rewards program earns points on every order and redeems them at checkout, turning one-time buyers into repeat customers who come back on their own.

  • Smile.io / Yotpo
  • Points → checkout discount
  • Floating widget

About

Built like a merchant

I'm Ruby — four years in professional web development, the last stretch of it spent entirely on Shopify: product pages, theme features, and the unglamorous fixes that move conversion.

I also own and run my own Shopify store, a paper goods brand. Running it changed how I build: I've watched a slow theme drag down my own conversion rate, and I've paid for one app subscription too many out of my own margin. On your store, I make the same calls I'd make with my own money on the line.
